Carpets hand-knotted in workshops in the villages near the city of Nain in central Persia. They are usually very light, with a creamy white or dark blue background and a large central medallion. The high density of the knots and the quality of the materials make these carpets excellent workmanship. They are produced in all sizes and are considered to be the finest carpets in the world, much appreciated by lovers of classic carpets.
