WHO WE ARE
Alì Toubaì moved to Italy in the 1960s, first for study reasons and then for work, and in 1982 he founded his own business with the Tubaì brand.
His desire, yesterday as today, has always been to spread the culture of the Persian and Oriental carpet by making it known the many aspects that still represent a reason for research and interest today.
In the following years Alì together with his sons Lorenzo and Stefano wanted the Tubaì family business to become a point of reference for both Persian and oriental rugs, ancient and for works of art.
Through a persevering passion for the pursuit of beauty and art, and the determination to propose true and authentic rarities that over time retain their original beauty and carefully researching the quality of the materials, in the workmanship both as regards the carpet and for works of art;
in these first 40 years of history Tubaì has collected many carpets from different production areas, preserving their stories and origins, transferring the knowledge of a millenary tradition directly into the homes of customers and collectors.
Through constant and continuous travels to the places of origin of the artifacts such as Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey, Tubaì has been able to consolidate excellent and solid relationships with families of weavers and restorers, thus guaranteeing full satisfaction. of the requests of even the most demanding customers and collectors.
After 40 years, today Tubaì is not just a commercial activity, it represents a place of meeting and dialogue through contemporary art exhibitions, book presentations, didactic laboratories of oriental artefacts and works of art.
